Rules
- Use dedicated FTP software (e.g. Cyberduck) — not a web browser.
- Never email image files.
- Send a FOLDER, not individual images.
- Folder name: LASTNAME_Subject_#OfImages (e.g. SMITH_Mecury_Poisoning_23)
- No symbols or accented characters in filenames — especially : or /
File Specs
- Format: .jpg only
- Color space: sRGB or AdobeRGB (Adobe1998)
- Full resolution — do not downsize pixels. Compress on export to ~3–4MB per file (Quality 7–8 in Photoshop, 70–80% in Lightroom).
- Cropping / color correction / light-dark OK. No heavy toning. Never add, remove, or alter content.
After You Upload
- Email PD@ZUMApress.com — list the folder name and how many images you sent.
- Every image needs the keyword zcontractphotographer.
- Credential requests for events must be approved by a ZUMA editor before you apply under the ZUMA name — email PD@ZUMApress.com with the specific event, sport, date, and venue.
